TRAILS stands for Tasi Ropati Action for Impact Legacy in the South Pacific.
Our parents, proud Samoan trailblazers, abandoned comfort, crossed oceans to New Zealand then Australia, conquered foreign languages and systems, and sacrificed without hesitation so their children could flourish in brighter futures. We are the direct result of their relentless resolve.
We will not allow that legacy to stop with us.
As sons and daughters of the diaspora, we refuse to let that legacy end with us. We stand as patriarchs and matriarchs of responsibility: wielding our gifts and talents to mentor, guide, protect, and build up the next generation — here in our adopted homeland and throughout the South Pacific. Through leadership, disciplined mentoring and purposeful community programs we reclaim our rightful place as providers, protectors, and builders of legacy.
Mandate: Honour the fathers and mothers who built it. Strengthen families today with a steady hand. Secure flourishing futures for tomorrow.
No excuses. This is our duty.
Our work is not only about programs it is about establishing sustainable long-term impact.
TRAILS was started by a family.
It is led by brothers and sisters, together with their husband/wife, who grew up in and around community life. The organisation was not created as a project, but as a natural extension of the relationships, responsibilities, and mentoring that were already happening within church, family and community.
